Billie Eilish has a new boyfriend, Jesse Rutherford, and their relationship appears to be blossoming.
According to TMZ, the 20-year-old Grammy award-winning singer was spotted making out with the 31-year-old musician in Los Angeles, confirming relationship rumors.
While the "Bad Guy" singer hasn't commented on whether she has a new lover, she was spotted eating with The Neighborhood singer immediately after photos of them kissing circulated.
A source said that the two musicians have been friends for a long time and respect one other, adding, "Billie and Jesse have known each other for years so even though they've only been dating for a short time, she feels extremely comfortable with him."
However, the insider said that Billie is certain her admirers will object to her dating an older man. They did, however, say that supporters need not be alarmed because Billie interacts with Jesse on several levels.
Fans, however, continued to express their concerns and opinions on Billie Eilish's new romance.
"When I stated I wanted a Billie and Jesse collab...this is NOT what I had in mind," one Twitter user said.
"What could a 31-year-old man have in common with a 20-year-old girl?" said another social media user. "The age difference bothers me."
But Billie Eilish may not care what fans think, especially now that she has the backing of her older brother and collaborator, Finneas.
They were seen hanging out with Finneas, and another insider told Hollywood Life that he approved of Billie's friendship with Jesse, which makes her "so happy and excited."

Another insider stated that the "Sweater Weather" singer gets along great with Finneas, who is very important to Billie.
"Billie has gone through so many incredible transformations and growth in the last several years, and she is ready to be with a man on her level." Jesse, she claims, is the ideal man for her."
According to the insider, Billie and Jesse's connection is "electrifying," and others can see and feel it as well.
"They are both very enthusiastic about their music, and Jesse has a great deal of respect and regard for Billie." He doesn't regard her as a celebrity or anything."
According to another source, despite their age difference and musical connection, the "Happier Than Ever" hitmaker respects Jesse as a person. Because he is not just a successful artist, but he is also "clever, witty, and respects her nothing with respect."
