America's biggest non-profile music festival, M3F is rising its banners once again on March 3 and 4 2023; the highly anticipated event will be held at Margaret T. Hance Park in downtown Phoenix

Fans will see a number of performers like Maggie Rogers, Jamie XX, Ashe, Polo & Pan, Quinn XCII, Toro Y Moi, Purple Disco Machine, Coin, and many more. .

According to reports, not only will the festival bring in several new artists, but it will also be expanding the scope of organizations to which the festival donates all of its proceeds.

The performers invited to perform at the music festival also see the event as a huge gathering, with people supporting and giving back to the community.

"M3F feels like a huge friends and family gathering," said Joshy Soul, one of the performers included in the 2023 lineup.

"It's a festival where I get to have fun doing what I love with a bunch of kind-hearted music lovers while raising a bunch of money for charity," he explained.

"Do not mistake kind-hearted for not being wild though. The M3F fans are definitely a wild bunch!"

The Goal

The previous year, M3F raised $1.2 million, and the efforts to increase donations to give back to more communities have been enforced.

"How can we create a 365-day ecosystem that allows us to continue our efforts after the gates close" was the main concern of M3F's manager Warner Bailey.

"So now moving forward we're going to work with each charity throughout the year and they're going to give us information on how the donation is being used and how fans can continue to support them and donate," he shared.

That way, fans are more involved in the process of donating and can continue donating long after the music festival, which proves to be more sustainable for the organizations.

The M3F website notes that the event was founded with the "purpose to give back." The music festival aims to support and nurture community, culture, and charity, which is why 100% of its proceeds go to different charities for almost 20 years now.

Several organizations have received donations from the music festival since its launch, including Habitat for Human Backline, Artist Advocacy Foundation, United Way, Arizona Helping hands, and more.

M3F also launched M3F Fund, which will expand on the charity-driven nature of the festival. Organizations can apply for the M3F Fund, which will help finance these organizations that "have clear objectives and a measurable way to access progress."

The application is open for all organizations, however, M3F also noted that it will prioritize its four primary pillars-community, education, arts, and environment.
