After the postponed release of their collaborative album, "Her Loss," last week, Drake and 21 Savage finally dropped their highly-anticipated project.
The last few days had been a rollercoaster ride for the rappers' fans as the duo unleashed probably one of their most controversial promotions to date. Starting with their fake Howard Stern interview that sparked questions about Champagne Papi's sexuality to the apparently "garbage" album cover, the frenzy just keeps on continuing.
Now, with "Her Loss'" release, one track, in particular, has grabbed the attention of the public as many thought that it was a jab to Megan Thee Stallion.
Megan Thee Stallion, Drake Feud Over 'Circo Loco' Lyrics
"Circo Loco," the ninth track from the "Her Loss" album of Drake and 21 Savage, is sharp as a knife with its tirades against a particular person.
"This bitch lie 'bout getting shots but she still a stallion," Drake sang.
Right off the bat, many have already pieced together what it meant.
In the current hip-hop scene, Megan Thee Stallion is the only prominent rapper who goes by the name of the four-legged mammal. As if the name drop doesn't make it more obvious, Drake then fired off some more - talking about this "b*tch" who lies about getting "shots."
In 2020, Canadian rapper Tory Lanez was accused of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot, leaving the "Body" rapper badly injured. Lanez was alleged to had proposed offering a hush pay of $1 million in connection to the Megan's complaint.

Drake, who is also a Canadian, seemed to be siding with Lanez on this matter; the same goes with many on the internet.
Upon hearing the "Circo Loco" lyric, Megan immediately took to Twitter to voice out her frustration.

Drake fans continue to defend their idol, saying that "stallion" doesn't automatically mean her, but Hottie had the perfect clap back: "A stallion is slang for a TALL THICK WOMAN." Afterward, she went on to tweet a flurry of statements directed to those who stood behind someone who shot a woman.

As of this writing, Drake has not yet issued any response to Megan Thee Stallion.
