Takeoff was in legal problems just before his tragic death.

The Migos rapper, 28, was sued by a victim only known as Jane Doe, who claimed the rapper, whose true name is Krishnik Khari Ball, sexually abused her at a house party held by a producer friend in June 2020.

According to court filings obtained by Radar Online, the lady arrived to the Encino party around 7 p.m., and Takeoff arrived a few seconds later. She noticed a firearm on top of the table at that time.

Takeoff allegedly offered her marijuana and his "staring" made her quite uncomfortable.

Doe told the producer that "she had no desire to engage in any type of romantic connection" with the rapper.

They met the rapper again as she and the producer headed upstairs, and an altercation ensued before she went to the producer's room alone, and Takeoff was reported to have followed her.

Further court filings stated that Takeoff began caressing her before violently beating her. The lady was eventually taken to a hospital for treatment, and the personnel discovered evidence of sexual trauma. They called the Los Angeles Police Department right away.

The Sun noted, however, that Takeoff had disputed the accusations and that the Los Angeles District Attorney's office had never pursued criminal charges against him due to a lack of evidence.

Takeoff was slated to appear during a deposition in January 2023, and a jury trial was already set for June 2023.
