The universe has spoken! In one of the most anticipated releases this year, People Magazine finally unveiled 2022's Sexiest Man Alive - Chris Evans!
While everyone is raving about Chris Evans' already obvious title, many are curious who among the 37 cover boys of the magazine issue can also belt out tunes onstage.
Music Times explored the long list of cover boys and skimmed through who were singers or not.
People Sexiest Man Alive 2022: Singers Who Graced The Cover So Far
Per our research, only four out of the 37 covers of the magazine's annual issue were singers or had a prominent music career. Read on to know more about who's who!
Adam Levine (2013)
In 2013, Adam Levine was the Sexiest Man Alive!
Shocked by the honor that the magazine has given to him, Levine is arguably one of the hottest musicians and vocalists ever. With his ripped six-pack abs, his heavily inked body, coupled with his killer vocals, Levine is a total package.
"As a musician, you have fantasies that you want to win Grammys, but I didn't really think that this was on the table," the singer told People at the time that CNN quoted. "I was just amazed and stunned and it almost seemed like they were kidding, but they weren't, so that's cool.
Blake Shelton (2017)
Three years after Levine graced the cover, it was Blake Shelton's turn already! The two had a running banter on their time as a coach in "The Voice," with Shelton being the last laugh at most times; he had given his pal Levine a run for his money when he was hailed the Sexiest man alive too!
"I can't wait to shove this up Adam's ass. As proud as I am and honored that you guys asked me, that's really the only thing I care about," he jokingly told the magazine.
John Legend (2019)
After Levine and Shelton, John Legend was the latest "The Voice" coach who was hailed the Sexiest Man Alive. Legend, with the talented soul he is, has had more bragging rights than Shelton and Levine. Not only did he have all four entertainment awards (EGOT: Emmy, Grammy, Oscars, Tony), but he also had the coveted honorific that his two peers got too.
"I was excited, but I was a little scared at the same time because it's a lot of pressure. Everyone's going to be picking me apart to see if I'm sexy enough to hold this title. I'm [also] following Idris Elba, which is not fair and is not nice to me!" he revealed to the publication.
Johnny Depp (2003, 2009)
Last on the list is Johnny Depp, who had been crowned twice as the Sexiest Man Alive - first in 2003 and the latest in 2009. Following his controversial defamation trial with Amber Heard, Depp has pursued his music career with his friend Jeff Beck. Despite the issues that have riddled Depp's career throughout the year, he is still one of the prettiest actors in Hollywood today!
