John Mayer was recently spotted with a female celebrity and fans were immediately sent into a frenzy on social media; what's the true score between them?
According to ET Online, the "Never Gonna Be Alone" hitmaker was photographed hanging out with the "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" star Kiernan Shipka.
The pair reportedly had dinner at the celebrity-favorite Italian restaurant, Giorgia Baldi, in Santa Monica, California.
As seen on viral photos online, it appears that the two kept it casual for their night out as the Dead & Company member sported sweatpants, a black jacket, and a pair of white sneakers.
On the other hand, his companion wore an all-black wool coat, pants, and wine-red heels.
According to sources who were at the restaurant at the time, Mayer and Shipka spent over four hours inside the Italian joint. There was even a point where the singer serenaded the Netflix star after having a few drinks.
The insider added that the two "seemed very much into each other" during their dinner.
As midnight struck, the two left separately in separate cars, seemingly dodging photographers outside the restaurant.

However, just a few blocks away, both vehicles pulled over before the AMC actress went inside Mayer's car. The singer then reportedly drove the star to her home in Los Angeles.
As of this writing, neither of the two has confirmed the real score between them, but it wasn't the first time they were seen together.
Early this year, photographers witnessed Shipka hugging Mayer at the Tower Bar in Sunset Tower Hotel.
The actress, who plays Sabrina Spellman in the hit Netflix series, was previously linked to Christian Coppola, but the filmmaker hasn't been featured in the actress' Instagram account since July.
