On Monday's episode of "The Drew Barrymore Show," Millie Bobby Brown expressed interest in portraying Britney in a biopic. She thinks she can do it very well since she can resonate to the legend's story -- but this seems to be misconstrued by Spears herself.

Brown was asked what would she like to do next after "Stranger Things" by Drew Barrymore, and the young star said she would like to play a real person. In particular, she wanted to portray Britney Spears.

She said that first and foremost, her narrative resonates with her. The "Enola Holmes" actress stated that like Spears, she has the unimaginable experience of "growing up in the public eye. Millie Brown even suggested she sensed similar emotions when watching old interviews with the pop artist.

She compared her and Britney's early experiences to Drew's work as an in-demand child actress on films such as "E.T." and "Firestarter," as well. Brown cannot explain it exactly, but she revealed that she really could tell the tale of the troubled music artist effectively and in the "right way."

Even though she did not name Brown in particular,  Spears, 40, seemed to have criticized the notion of the actress playing her in a biopic in a lengthy Instagram post, in which she attacked her family. as well. She has a specific warning to Brown and others who want to see her biopic made --"She's not dead," she said.

Britney's life has been the subject of numerous films, including New York Times documentaries that shed light on her conservatorship. In 2017, Lifetime aired Britney Ever After, a biography depicting her "humble beginnings on the Mickey Mouse Club to super fame, a widely publicized fall from grace, and a dramatic comeback."

Britney's criticism of the biopic was part of a broader letter she wrote in which she addressed family difficulties, claiming they for sure want her dead now.

Brown has previously demonstrated her acting ability by guiding "Stranger Things" to many Emmy Awards and the 2017 SAG Award for outstanding performance by a drama series ensemble. The fifth and last season of the show is about to begin.

Brown is also a skilled producer, having worked behind the scenes on the popular Enola Holmes film series for Netflix. Since 2018, she has served as a Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF. She is the founder of the beauty line Florence by Mills.
