After announcing that Silk Sonic will be withdrawing from the 2023 Grammy Awards, Bruno Mars seemed to be putting more time into his very own Las Vegas Residency.
Last October, the R&B duo announced that they would be pulling out their album, "An Evening With Silk Sonic," at the 2023 Grammy Awards consideration.
Considered as one of the frontrunners on the Album of the Year Category, "An Evening With Silk Sonic" is pressed to go head to head with "Renaisssance," "Harry's House," "30," "Un Verano Sin Ti," and even "Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers" - albums considered a shoo-in on the coveted category.
"We truly put our all on this record, but Silk Sonic would like to gracefully, humbly and most importantly, sexually, bow out of submitting our album this year. We hope we can celebrate with everyone on a great year of music and partake in the party. Thank you for letting Silk Sonic thrive," Mars said in a statement at the time.
The duo, including Anderson Paak, swept the 2022 Grammy Awards earlier this year after winning all of their nominations that night, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best R&B Performance.
Despite the massive pullout, Mars seemed to be booked and busy as he recently announced that he would be having more dates on his own Las Vegas Residency.

Bruno Mars Las Vegas Residency 2023
The announcement for the new dates came after the popular demand from his previously announced New Year shows at the Dolby Live at Park MGM Grand on Dec. 30 and 31, 2022.
According to Billboard, Mars is set to add ten more dates to his concert-turned-Las Vegas Residency in 2023. This would be the first time that the "Uptown Funk" hitmaker will perform as a solo act after his debut with Anderson Paak in 2021 as a duo.
Bruno Mars' Las Vegas concerts will take place on Jan. 25, 27, and 28, 2023 - followed by seven more dates in February. Mars' concerts will also be on Feb. 1, 3, 4, 8, 10, 11, and 14, 2023.
