The 2023 Grammy Nominations are already out and it might be the fiercest pack of nominations so far!

Most of the early predictions of many publications have materialized, including the Beyonce and Adele rematch in the Album of the Year category.

However, one thing that many people on Twitter have noticed is the lack of nominations that Nicki Minaj's songs received from The Recording Academy.

Most notably, her record-breaking and setting song, "Super Freaky Girl," to many fans' dismay - did not even receive any nominations.

Fans online are shocked by the snub, considering that "Super Freaky Girl" was one of the biggest songs that were released this year. The track debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts and has remained for 10 consecutive weeks at the Top 10, marking her longest stay on the Top 10 charts of her career.

On its opening day, it amassed the largest streaming and online purchases records on Spotify and iTunes for a rap song by a female solo artist.

Fans are pointing out that The Recording Academy had been very elusive of Minaj ever since her controversial performance in 2012 at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards.

Since then, Nicki Minaj is considered to be one of the biggest names in the music industry and has been nominated numerous times but has failed to secure any wins because of what fans said to be a "favoritism" issue.

Earlier this year, as the vocal person she is, she voiced out her frustrations after The Hollywood Reporter reported that her song "Super Freaky Girl" was pulled out from the rap categories after it was deemed by The Recording Academy's rap committee to have sounded more like a pop record.

In return, Nicki pointed out on Twitter that if "Super Freaky Girl," which is widely classified as a rap song, be moved out of the rap category, then Latto's "Big Energy" should be reclassified to being it sonically sounds the same.

This, in turn, angered Latto, who is a well-known Nicki Minaj fan, prompting a fiery exchange on Twitter.

As of this writing, Nicki Minaj is trending on Twitter with more than 12,000 tweets.

"Sick of Nicki getting snubbed by the Grammys she's literally dominated the rap game for 15 years but never the less she's the GOAT #NickiMinaj," a fan said.

"This @NICKIMINAJ snubb over Glorilla when #NickiMinaj spent 10 weeks consecutively at #1 on Billboard Hot Rap Songs chart. The #GRAMMYs are a joke," another posted.

"Someone who's a major playing in the music industry hates #NickiMinaj and from this 2022 and all Grammy nominations says it all. When she's speaking on it, ppl need to shut the F up because is that serious and we all are seeing it in real time. #TheGrammyisragged," another pointed out.

Aside from "Super Freaky Girl," Nicki Minaj's "Do We Have A Problem," a front-runner in early GRAMMYs 2023 predictions failed to secure a nod on the Rap categories too.

"Super Freaky Girl" is predicted to have landed either a Record of the Year nomination or a Best Rap Performance nod.
