Kid Rock is fighting to preserve Beechwood Hall, the iconic and historic home in Tennessee, from getting demolished by speaking up and making sure to get it into national news headlines.

Several country music stars called the hall home, including Hank Williams Sr., Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill. The 160-year-old home is located in Williamson County, and is also considered highly by locals.

In an interview with Tucker Carlson, Rock denounced the demolition plans of the home, "I think like so many other people in this country, we are sick of seeing history torn to the ground."

According to Fox News, neighbors and other locals fear that the home might soon be facing its end, as it has been in "complete disrepair."

The home was built back in the 1850s and reportedly survived the Civil War, it has about 268 acres and is now currently owned by a fund manager named Larry Keele.

Rock called out the demolition of important and historic landmarks in the state, noting that Beechwood Hall is not the first to be demolished in the name of modernity or advancement.

"Whether it be in the form of monuments, statues, and now something so important here in Nashville... where does it end?" He rhetorically asked.

Rest Easy

According to reports, the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County has already reached out to the homeowners and told Fox 17 News that the plans for the demolition of Beechwood Hall won't be immediate.

However, the non-profit organization is already in talks with the owner in an effort to preserve the historic home. In a statement, the Tennessee-based organization wrote: "We believe the best approach to saving this or any other historic property is to work in a collaborative and positive manner with any owner of a historic property, create a comprehensive preservation plan, and bring resources and solutions to the table for discussion."

Currently, steps in keeping the integrity of the structure have been taken by securing it from the "elements, vermin, and vandals."

Moreover, the singer-songwriter is hopeful that many will be interested in joining their cause.

He said: "They can go to savebeechwood.org, and I think you will see a lot more country music stars, musicians, just great people in the community that want to preserve this for the next generation to come. Generations beyond that."

On the other hand, the homeowner, Keele, denied that there are plans for Beechwood Hall's demolition. He noted that the home was already in a "deteriorated state" when he acquired the property and has consulted architects to restore the home.
