Miley Cyrus and her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth have been apart from one other for years.
However, three years after their nasty divorce, it was discovered that the former "Hannah Montana" star attempted to contact the 32-year-old Australian actor a couple of times but was "snubbed."
The 30-year-old is giving an olive branch to her ex because she has a new aim in life-she just wants some emotional healing.
In fact, she hopes she and Liam can rekindle their friendship.
However, a source told Radar Online that Liam doesn't want anything to do with her.
"Liam has refused to return her calls and has made it clear to her through others that he does not want any contact with her."
With Miley Cyrus just purchasing a $8 million property in the Malibu region where Liam frequently hangs out, his biggest concern for the time being is stumbling into his ex-wife at the grocery.
After more than ten years of being together, Liam filed for divorce from Miley in August 2019. They only married in 2018, and their divorce was completed in January 2020.
In his petition, the "Hunger Games" actor stated that he wanted to end his marriage to Miley because of "irreconcilable differences." Fortunately, they had a prenuptial agreement in place, which made their separation easy.
Insiders close to Liam indicated at the time that he was already over their marriage and just wanted to get it over with. Unfortunately, it didn't happen right away, with insiders stating it would be "crazy" for him to reconcile with Miley.
Liam Hemsworth has moved on to another woman, Gabriella Brooks, since their divorce in 2019.

According to an insider, he feels more at ease with his new girlfriend than with Miley.
"Liam feels like he can be himself without fear of being judged. They are very happy together, and it is easy and comfortable for them.
Being shunned by Liam is one of the few things Miley is dealing with, as another source claims the "Can't Be Tamed" singer breaks down in Mexico about her anxiousness, saying how she "felt alone."
"Has anyone ever been worried, like extremely f- uncomfortable for no reason, uneasy, and uncertain?" she questioned the audience."
Miley Cyrus had been dealing with a lot of family drama in recent months, and she had severed ties with her parents after her mother Tish filed for divorce from Billy Ray Cyrus earlier this year. The latter is presently betrothed to a singer who is decades his junior.
