It's still 31 days until the end of 2022, but music lovers will already know who the year's most Googled musician is.

CelebTattler did research in which they studied Google search data for over 150 of the most prominent singers since the beginning of the year to determine who will be the most talked about in 2022.

Who Is the Most Googled Musician of 2022?

According to their research, Taylor Swift is the most Googled singer in 2022. Per their analysis, the "Lavender Haze" hitmaker has 2.1 million average monthly searches in America alone for 2022.

Taylor Swift has released "Midnights," her highly anticipated album after "folklore" and "evermore" in 2020.

When her album was launched at midnight on October 21, she followed it up with an additional set of songs three hours later, much to the pleasure of fans.

Aside from that, Taylor had the Ticketmaster saga, in which the ticket-selling site was unable to satisfy the enormous demand of her fans for "The Eras Tour," and did not have enough residual ticket inventory to match that demand.

Fans were outraged because the drama prevented them from purchasing tickets for her stadium tours across the United States, and resale tickets sold for as much as $13,000 per ticket.

Meanwhile, Harry Styles is the second-most Googled musician in America for 2022. In May, the British singer-songwriter "Harry's House" published an album.

Apart from that, he appeared in two significant films this year: "Don't Worry, Darling" and "My Policeman."

His love life was also in the limelight this year, despite the fact that they had recently broken up. However, the "As It Was" singer was also in the heart of controversy during the promotional tour for his ex-film girlfriend's "Don't Worry Darling."

According to CelebTattler, Harry Styles receives 2.09 million searches from Americans each month.

Kanye West finally settled his divorce from ex Kim Kardashian, and not only was his personal life in the spotlight for the entire year, but so was his professional life, after several major corporations cut ties with him due to his controversial remarks about Jews.

According to the celebrity news portal, Kanye has been Googled 2.05 million times each month, while his friend Travis Scott ranks fourth with 1.95 million monthly searches owing to the Astroworld tragedy that made headlines across the world in late 2021.

Meanwhile, Rihanna is the fifth most Googled singer, having recently given birth to her first child and being confirmed as the half-time performance for next year's Super Bowl.

This year, the singer of "Diamonds" has been searched 1.77 million times every month.

Billie Eilish and Ariana Grande came in sixth and seventh, with 1.76 million and 1.68 million followers, respectively. Selena Gomez joins the list of the most-Googled musicians with 1.51 million searches, while her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber received 1.49 million.
