Cardi B gave a warning to her fans who want to undergo plastic surgery.
For years, Cardi B had been candid about her plastic surgery journey, revealing that she underwent breast augmentation and liposuction. She also admitted to having illegal butt injections years ago.
Unfortunately, she suffered complications after one of those procedures, and it led her to pledge not to get surgery again.
The 30-year-old rapper revealed more dangers of having these types of surgeries in a new Instagram Live. She revealed that she removed 95 percent of her biopolymers - fillers on her buttocks - in August. She got those for $800 in 2014.
Cardi B then warned her followers about the downside of those procedures.
"All I'm going to say is that if you're young, if you're 19, 20, 21, and sometimes you're too skinny, and you be like, 'OMG I don't have enough fat to put in my a*s,' so you result to a*s shots, DON'T!" she said, as quoted by JustJared.
The rapper also shared her experience with Brazilian Butt Life (BBL) and told fans to check their blood levels before undergoing the process. She added that they should listen to their doctors if they tell them their blood levels are too low or if they have diabetes.
A report posted by Bloomberg this year revealed that BBL became one of the deadliest cosmetic surgeries. Business Insider also noted that a 2017 report featuring 692 surgeons around the globe found that the procedure has "significantly higher mortality rates."
Aesthetic MdR plastic surgeon Dr. Luis Macias said that one of its significant risks is fat embolism. It occurs when fat enters the bloodstream and leads to blockage in the lungs.
Cardi B Says Plastic Surgeries Made Her Feel Confident
Previously, Cardi B told Mariah Carey for her Interview cover story that she opted to have enhancements to improve her confidence. She recalled looking skinny when she was younger.
When she started to work as a dancer in a strip club, she reportedly used her earnings to get breast implants. With that, she got rid of one of her greatest insecurities.

She then enhanced her buttocks before working in the urban strip clubs.
After giving birth to her daughter, Kulture, Cardi B received a second breast surgery and liposuction.
