Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck want to make this year's holiday season a special one, after all, it is their first Christmas as a wedded couple, and they wanted to go about it in style!

The houndstooth by Chanel is a Christmas staple among celebrities and even royalty, as several stars have been seen sporting the gorgeous pattern this time of the year-and Lopez is no exception.

The "On The Floor" singer was spotted donning a lime green Houndstooth coat paired with a simple yet elegant fit, and she was accompanied by her now-husband Ben Affleck who wore an equally simple fit for this year's holiday decorations for their home.

According to the Daily Mail UK, Lopez and Affleck brought their children along for the Los Angeles outing: Lopez's kids with Marc Anthony, Max and Emme, and Affleck's kids with Jennifer Garner, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel.

Reports say Hailey Bieber and Kate Middleton have been seen wearing the staple pattern every winter.

Another thing that goes way back with Lopez is her history with Affleck. She and the actor met when they filmed the movie "Gigli," and quickly became "really, really, really good friends," as per Affleck.

According to a timeline compiled by Insider, in 2002, she and Affleck began dating and even got engaged in November. By January 2004, they announced that they had broken up.

It seems like the pair will now live out their happily-ever-after as they adorn their home with Christmas decorations and get into the holiday spirit as a married couple.
