It's been a crazy good year for Taylor Swift.

The award-winning and record-breaking singer-songwriter has also turned 33 years old today, December 13.

In the last 12 months, there have been a lot of memorable milestones for the "Anti-Hero" hitmaker.

Record Store Day Ambassador

Taylor Swift was chosenin January to serve as Record Store Day's first-ever worldwide global, stepping up to assist honor the annual event's 15th anniversary.

She said, "The places where we go to browse and explore and discover new and old music have always been sacred to me. Record stores are important because they help perpetuate and foster music-loving as a passion."

Getting Her Honorary Degree At NYU

ITaylor Swift received an honorary degree from New York University in May, and her cap and gown are always in vogue.

The "Welcome to New York" singer gave the class of 2022 a motivational address, and according to a source who talked with E! news that the pop artist chatted with a few of the grads about their experiences and blended in seamlessly.

She seemed sincere and lovely, just interested in hearing other viewpoints, the source said.

Six Years With Joe Alwyn

Taylor Swift said in October that throughout the course of her six-year relationship with British actor Joe Alwyn, she had to deal with strange rumors.

She described the significance of her popular song "Lavender Haze" in a video that she released on October 7.

Taylor said, "It turns out that it's a common phrase used in the '50s where they would just describe being in love. Like, if you were in the lavender haze, then that meant you were in that all-encompassing love glow."

She continued, "I think a lot of people have to deal with this now, not just like 'public figures,' because we live in the era of social media. And if the world finds out that you're in love with somebody, they're going to weigh in on it."

Release of Her Album 'Midnights'

On October 21, 2022, Taylor Swift's tenth studio album, "Midnights," was made available by Republic Records.

The album, which is her first since the 2020 albums "Folklore" and "Evermore," was unveiled during the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards.

The album is qualified for Grammy and other honors in 2024.

Record-Breaking

Taylor Swift's album had 228 million Spotify streams in only one day, making it the best-selling album of 2022.

With more than 2 million copies sold, "Midnights" has also been awarded double-platinum certification.

Record For Most AMAs Wins

Taylor Swift also accepted six American Music Awards on November 20, including the award for "Favorite Pop Album" for "Red (Taylor's Version)." She is considered the most awarded in the show's history.

Four Grammys

This year, Taylor also got nominated for four Grammy Awards, including "Song of the Year" for "All Too Well (10 Minute Version)."

Eras Tour Announcement and Tragedy

Taylor Swift is apparently the only performer to crack the ticketing website before it was made available to the general public for purchase, even if there are issues with Ticketmaster and her upcoming Eras Tour.

Hours-long delays, a website collapse, and some irate customers were the results of at least 12 million visitors, including bots, participating in the pre-sale. But that day, at least two million tickets were bought.

Her Directorial Debut

And only a few days ago, it was revealed that Taylor Swift would make her feature film directorial debut with Searchlight Pictures, using a script she developed just for the company.

According to reports, the next film is qualified for the short film category of the 2018 Academy Awards.
