Lizzo has been dating comedian Myke Wright for a hot minute, but it seems like the relationship is just about to reach the next level.

During her appearance on Howard Stern's SiriusXM show, Lizzo shared just how committed she is to her boyfriend.

When asked about suitors sliding into her DMs, she had only one thing to say, "don't waste your time, honey. I am very much in love with Myke."

Perhaps the reason why Lizzo and Wright are so tight is that their relationship stems back to 2016, and they started out as friends.

"I had a lot of s**t to do, and I still was very much in my 'I feel unloveable place, and I still was very much not where I wanted to be career-wise," she reflected on what took so long for her and Wright to connect on a deeper level.

She also explained how much she prioritizes her career, "I have always since I was a teenager put my career in front of any relationship, any person,

"Even if a person came around that I was googly gaga about, I had these wild defenses up that made it almost impossible for a true intimate relationship to occur. It was all very surface with anyone."

2019 saw the rise of Lizzo, and she was even named Entertainer of the Year by Time. Maybe it was then that she realized that the time was right, and she could relax and welcome love into her life.

Love Came Back

According to People, Lizzo confirmed her relationship in April of this year after being spotted with her comedian boyfriend in February, however, back then, people actually had no idea who she was dating.

"If you love something and you let it go, and if it's meant to be, it comes back to you. When the time was right we came together, and we just recently were like, 'Oh, we together. This is official," the "About Damn Time" singer continued.

To prove just how serious she is about her relationship, she added, "we're not playing any games with each other anymore. We're very much locked in.

"We're not playing any games with each other anymore. We're very much locked in."

Although the "Truth Hurts" did not mention anything about getting married to Wright, one can only guess that that's where their relationship is heading in the future.
