Rapper Megan Thee Stallion was shot by Tory Lanez during an altercation that took place in Hollywood Hills in July 2020.

He just entered a not guilty plea to charges of making a grossly negligent firearm discharge, carrying a loaded, unlicensed pistol in a moving vehicle, and assault with a semi-automatic weapon.

But this week, a jury in Los Angeles found him guilty on all three charges, CNN reported.

After a dispute, the "WAP" hitmaker claimed that Tory shot her in the foot as she got out of the car they were traveling in.

According to testimony given during the trial, Megan said that she, Tory, and her former friend and assistant, Kelsey Harris, had a difficult conversation inside the car.

Billboard reports that Megan testified that Tory wanted her to tell Kelsey about their previous relationship since they were formerly intimate. Megan, according to the magazine, did not feel comfortable doing this because she was aware that Kelsey had a crush on the Canadian singer-rapper.

Sonstar Peterson, the father of Tory Lanez, said that Jay-Z was responsible for his son's conviction for the crime since he signed Megan to his record label Roc Nation in June 2022.

Sonstar charged Beyonce's husband of "trading and bartering the souls of young men" outside the courtroom.

Daystar Peterson is his son; he further agitated and exclaimed that the decision was the "greatest miscarriage of justice this planet has ever seen."

Along with blaming Beyonce, the well-known father protested what he perceived as an injustice.

Tory Lanez is currently incarcerated and waiting for his sentence for the shooting for which he was convicted responsible.

The event involving Tory Lanez's father may have a significant impact on the case despite the fact that it shouldn't, according to AllHipHop, even if everyone in the world has already made an opinion about it.

After his entire family went on camera outside the courthouse, it quickly devolved into a pointless spectacle that garnered more attention than the real case itself.

AllHipHop highlighted that the family has likely injured themselves more now than ever before the case ruling, according to sources who informed the publication that Tory's family's actions made a mockery of the court.

They wrote, "Like other big cities that maintain an iron fist of law and order, they want to be the ones in control."

"Now, it looks as though Tory will get a couple of years, tacked onto his sentence because of his father's post-verdict outburst."

The site also argued that Sonstar shouldn't have done something, such as "jumping the gun," that they shouldn't have.
