Pop Smoke's mural in Brooklyn, New York, has been vandalized using spray paint.

Two years after the mural was created at 8125 Flatlands Ave in honor of the late rapper, photos of the damaged part of the art circulated online on Wednesday. DJ Akademiks also shared a copy of the photo on his Instagram page.

In the snap, the phrase "Woo K," which reportedly stands for "Woo Killer," can be seen. The spray paint was not used on his actual portrait, but instead damaged the other side of the mural.

Fans immediately expressed their dismay after someone "violated" Pop Smoke's mural. The late rapper's representative and family are yet to comment on the event.

His mural was finished by Hattas Public Murals months after his tragic death in 2020.

It was not the first vandalism that was done in things related to the "Meet the Woo" rapper, though.

In September 2021, a group of people vandalized his grave and attempted to remove his casket. At that time, his mother, Audrey Jackson, expressed her rage on Instagram.

"So, chips leftover from either them trying to break in or from it being fixed to at least have it covered, but this was unnecessary, whoever you are. Whoever you are, you have my attention. Now what!?," she said while holding marble debris.

Pop Smoke's Death

In 2020, intruders ambushed Pop Smoke in Los Angeles in pursuit of stealing his diamond-studded Rolex and Cuban link chain. In the end, they only managed to steal the watch and sell it for $2,000.

One of the four defendants, a then-15-year-old young man, murdered him by shooting the rapper. He was charged with murder and robbery. He eventually confessed his crimes during a recorded interview after Pop Smoke's death.

He revealed that he decided to shoot him after the rapper fought them back.

"He admitted that he shot the victim three times with a Beretta 9 (mm.) ," LAPD Det. Carlos Camacho said." They got into a fight, and he shot him three times. He said he shot him in the back. He said that when the individuals got inside, the suspects confronted (Pop Smoke), who was in the shower naked."

Before his death, he and his friend Michael Durodola shared photos of them showing the house's full address, leaking their location to the culprits.

Pop Smoke began his career in 2018 with his debut single, "MPR (Panic Part 3 Remix)" before dropping more hit singles like "Dior" and "Welcome to the Party."
