Taylor Swift has been on a roll. She has been releasing albums left and right, and she has been raking in the dough, despite not having a tour for the past couple of years.

She was included on Billboard's Top Global Money Makers of 2021 list, alongside Harry Styles, BTS, Drake, and the Rolling Stones.

She has reportedly earned $65.8 million from sales royalties and streaming royalties. She also boasts 15.6 billion in the global streaming count.

These numbers do not include a tour, which is a real money-maker in the music industry, but that will change very soon, because she is soon embarking on her highly-anticipated "The Eras Tour."

According to Forbes magazine, the "Fearless" singer could earn up to $620 million from the tour alone.

David Herlihy, professor and Music Industry Program Coordinator at Northeaster University, crunched the numbers, and it seems that the tour could generate well over $500 million in ticket sales alone, with over $12 million of that will be paid to Ticketmaster.

'Hunger Games'?

The day pre-sale for the "The Eras Tour" commenced, thousands, if not millions of fans eagerly lined up and got themselves tickets for the tour, which will reportedly have a tracklist that will span decades of Swift's discography.

It is no wonder fans are fighting for the tickets like they were fighting for their lives.

Since the last tour, Swift has released three new albums, "Folklore," "Evermore," and "Midnights," and a rerecorded album, "Red."

Numerous songs off the three new albums are yet to be performed live by the singer, so fighting for tickets to the tour feels a lot like the "Hunger Games," as some fans describe it as.

"The Eras Tour" comes after the singer's "Reputation Stadium Tour," which accumulated $345 million, and became the third highest-grossing tour by a female musician.

Swift has a reported net worth of $400 million, and her numerous homes across the country and private jets prove just how wealthy the "Anti-Hero" singer is.

Swift currently has 10 studio albums, with three live albums, four EPs, two rerecordings, 18 compilations, and one limited release.

She has accumulated 49 million certified album units in the United States alone, and numerous songs atop the US Billboard 200 chart. By all accounts, this singer is one of the wealthiest and she is just about to get even more wealthy next year.
