Is J. Cole releasing a new album? Well, his Instagram account suggests so!

Fans of the Dreamville Records founder are celebrating the idea that he will make a huge comeback this year.

In the past few years, fans, in whatever genre, have always been correct in predicting that their favorite artist is staging a huge comeback or releasing something big if they overhaul or do something "predictably unpredictable" on their social media accounts.

Instagram is usually the main platform that fans look out for first for the most changes. Usually, artists hinting at a return or a new release erase, deactivate, or sweep their profile clean - disrupting their normal or weekly updates.

J Cole fans are well in their right mind thinking that this could mean a new project is rolling out in the coming months. In 2019, days before he released "Middle Child," J Cole wiped his account clean. Months after, his "Revenge of the Dreamers III," a star-studded and highly-acclaimed album, arrived in the Summer of 2019.

According to HipHopDX, J Cole fans are speculating that he might be preparing for two projects: "The Fall Off" or "It's A Boy." These two

projects were teased in 2020 during "The Fall of Era," which also famously hinted at the release of "The Off Season."

"J. Cole has cleared his Instagram The last time he did this he dropped an album," one of his dedicated fan pages said on Twitter.

"Reminder that the last time J. Cole cleared his IG, he gave us Middle Child The time before that, he gave us KOD We're VERY likely to be getting new music soon," another user reminded.

"J Cole has cleared his Instagram. I think it's time! I'm ready," a fan posted.

However, a new album might not be the only case that caused J Cole to wipe his profile, boasting almost 8 million followers. Last November 2022, Dreamville Records, J Cole's record label, was tapped to executive produce the upcoming movie soundtrack of "Creed III."

Michael B. Jordan, who will be playing Creed, announced the exciting news at the ComplexCon 2022 in Long Beach, California, last November. Tessa Thompson, Jonathan Majors, Florian Munteanu, Woody Harris, and Phylicia Rashad will also be in the movie, along with Jordan.
