Cardi B does her own grocery shopping, which is why she's highly aware that the prices of vegetables have been skyrocketing in recent weeks, and she shared her two cents on the matter on Twitter.

"Lettuce was like $2 a couple of months ago, and now it's like f**king $7," the "Tomorrow 2" rapper said in a video she uploaded on Twitter. "Of course, I'm going to say something: The f**k?!"

She then addressed politicians directly, telling them to "put that s**t the f**k down," referring to the inflation of grocery items and other goods.

"Cause if I think that s**t is crazy, I could only imagine what middle-class people or people in the hood [are] motherf**king thinking," she continued.

Cardi B, born Belcalis Almanzar, was not always the successful rapper and multi-millionaire she is known as today. She worked her way up from the streets, working various jobs, and even as a stripper before she found fame and success.

"Let me tell y'all something. When I be complainin' about food prices, and y'all motherf**kers be like ain't you rich [...] That just goes to show me when you become successful when you have money, you're gonna go broke soon because you're not budgeting," she expounded.

According to reports, fans and other personalities concurred with Cardi B's complaints and suggestion to "budget" money.

Twitter users aired out their frustrations with the government, "can you honestly admit that none of this happened under Trump?" A user wrote.

"Stop voting for politicians that only care about getting $$," another added.

"I agree," a Twitter user wrote, "this is why we need to elec a Republican president in 2024."

This isn't the first time Cardi B talked about the economy, a few weeks ago, she talked about the recession happening in the country.

"We going through a recession.....Merry Christmas," she wrote on Twitter with a Christmas tree emoji.

This tweet received a little bit of backlash after a netizen replied, "says the rapper worth 40 million."

Cardi B corrected the netizen that her net worth was much more than the alleged $40 million, but also reinforced that she would not have that net worth if she did not manage her finances well.

"If I don't save, work and budget I could lose it too!" She replied. "What makes you think that no matter how much money you got you can't lose it all if you don't manage your money correctly. I too have bills, responsibilities and people I have to help (sic)."
