The argument that caused Takeoff's murder has been finally determined months after the rapper's death.

During his recent guest appearance on "Ugly Money Podcast," Comedian Shawty Shawty disclosed that the shooting incident that killed Takeoff started following an argument over loaded dice. His statement resonated with what the police findings revealed, saying that the deadly incident happened after a "lucrative" dice game outside the 810 Billiards & Bowling in Houston.

According to Shawty Shawty, he spoke to TakeOff and Quavo's cousins, who told him that the fight started after Quavo claimed that the men he was playing the gamble with rigged the dice.

"I have to say 'alleged' because I was told this over the phone from a reliable source," he said. "They say Quavo dominates in a lot of different things - basketball, all of this. So they say that they had been shooting basketball earlier, and then they got to the bowling alley, and they said it was a dice game."

The "Wild 'N' Out" star alleged that was when the fight started.

Meanwhile, an affidavit released in December said Quavo threw a punch after losing money to two unnamed men during the game. Two people then exchanged gunfire, with some of the stray bullets ended up killing Takeoff.

Who Shot Takeoff?

A 33-year-old named Patrick Xavier Clark has since been arrested after the police's investigation.

A surveillance video was presented to the court showing the alleged suspect holding a wine bottle in one hand and a gun in the other. The authorities found the same bottle with his fingerprints near the scene.

His team tried to ask the court to reduce his $2 million bail and make it $100,000. In return, he pledged to stay with his parents and wear a GPS monitor upon his potential release. He also agreed to follow the curfew hours that might be given to him.

The same request stated he was willing to surrender his passport and abide by a no-contact order.

State District Judge Josh Hill, however, was hesitant to grant his request due to the fact that he searched for fake tickets after the incident. He eventually agreed to reduce his bond if additional security requirements could be met. He clarified that he could lower it to $300,000.

Previously, a 22-year-old man named Cameron Joshua was also charged with two counts of a felon - felony to possess a firearm and unlawfully carrying a weapon. He was not charged over Takeoff's death.
