There have been a lot of reports over the weekend that Britney Spears had a public meltdown while dining at a Woodland Hills restaurant while her husband Sam Asghari stormed out due to his wife's "behavior."

The 28-year-old fitness instructor has now refuted the report on social media, writing, "Don't trust what you read online folks."

The singer of "Baby One More Time" was "making a disturbance" while having dinner at Joey on Friday, according to TMZ's source. Sam allegedly stormed out of the restaurant as a result of the mother-of-two being "manic" and "talking gibberish," according to eyewitnesses.

Britney appeared to be concealing her face behind a menu in a video that the tabloid was able to secure of her.

However, another witness refuted the claims that Britney had a public breakdown, and Sam left her alone at the table after dispelling the accusations.

They told Page Six,"The disruptor wasn't Britney - it was the diner who taunted her by taking a video without consent."

In a video that she released, Britney can be seen giving the camera the middle finger. She addressed TMZ's assertion that she was being "erratic" immediately.

The "Toxic" singer also went on a lengthy Instagram rant, saying, "I know the news is all hyped about me being a little drunk at a restaurant..."

"It's like they'll be WATCHING MY EVERY MOVE. I'm so flattered they talk about me like a maniac THEN have the ball to talk about all the negative things that happened in my past!!!"

Britney Spears Public History Scandals

Britney Spears discussed the "severe emotional trauma" she underwent as a result of her conservatorship in 2022, claiming that it prevented her from breathing normally when she looked at other people's faces.

The "Womanizer" singer also disclosed that due to improper breathing, she had nerve damage to the right side of her body. She says she is "terrified" following her conservatorship and won't go to the doctor. But the stunning blonde asserts that when she dances, the agony disappears.

The "Lucky" singer finished a 30-day rehabilitation program at a mental health center in 2019, but she subsequently claimed that she was coerced into entering because she refused to dance during one of her practices.

But it was in February 2007 when she shaved her head and acquired two new tattoos that her worrisome conduct became apparent.

After keeping her kid prisoner at her house and refusing to give him to her then-husband, Kevin Federline, she was sent to a psychiatric hospital.
