A three-way battle for the Billboard Hot 100 Top 1 is set to unfold next week as Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, and SZA battle it out for the top position.

Based on chart predictions, SZA's "Kill Bill" is set to peak on its highest position yet after debuting at No. 3 in December 2023 - thanks to the release of the "Kill Bill" music video, it is projected to take on the top spot next week at the Jan. 24 charts.

Aside from releasing her action-packed and bloody music video, SZA has also released three more versions of the song in a newly released EP, containing the music video, the original song, a sped-up version, an instrumental, and a vocal-only version.

This release has been expected to help the track finally reach No. 1 and dethrone Taylor Swift's 8th nonconsecutive No. 1 rule.

Based on the recent charts dated Jan. 17, Swift's "Anti-Hero" remains mighty atop the charts, spending its eight nonconsecutive Top 1 position. This feat is a record-setting one for the hitmaker as the track has surpassed "Blank Space," which only spent seven weeks in the charts.

"Anti-Hero" is now Taylor Swift's sole longest-leading No. 1 track to date.

SZA's "Kill Bill" has been challenging "Anti-Hero" since its release in December but failed to do so, especially with the Christmas hits on the way.

According to Talk of the Charts, it would seem like there is another player in the race for No. 1. Miley Cyrus' lead single, "Flowers, for her upcoming album "Endless Vacation" is currently the No. 1 track on the US iTunes Song Sales Chart.

"Flowers" has also been ruling Spotify and Apple Music since its release. Headline Planet reported that the song is also the No. 1 song on three different Spotify Playlists - Pop Rising, New Music Friday, and Today's Top Hits - playlists which ranks the most streamed songs by its subscribers.

If Cyrus manages to make a breakthrough, this would be a record-setting feat for her too. It would be her first song to debut ever at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts and her second song to have reached the top since "Wrecking Ball" in 2013.
