Paramore is one of the opening acts for Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour, and that is actually really beautiful.

It is a strange thing to see young people grow up in the limelight. From child TV stars to musical performers, it is easy to forget that, just because they are celebrities, does not mean that they are growing, experiencing many of the things that we are experiencing at those ages. They have homework. They want to hang out with friends. They have dreams, goals, and ambitions. That is not to say that dreams and ambitions are relegated to a time of youth, but it is the time when one starts to dream and often shares those dreams with others.

It makes sense that behind the scenes, these stars in similar situations find each other, growing together and sharing. Such is the case with two modern icons: Paramore and Taylor Swift. In a recent interview with Billboard, Paramore's lead singer Hayley Williams remembers speaking with a young Taylor Swift once when they were both musical sensations in their late teens.

Williams shared with Billboard that Taylor Swift told her, "that she wanted to be like Carole King...And I was like, 'Whoa, that's a crazy thing to say,' you know? Because we were kids. And I'll be damned, this woman, she's crossing genres and bleeding over into other aspects of pop culture, and she's helping to shape it at the very least."

Paramore is set to be one of the opening acts of Taylor Swift's highly anticipated The Eras Tour. The Midnights singer excitedly shared:

"Having Paramore join me on tour is such an honor...We came up alongside each other as Nashville teenagers writing our own music, so it feels insanely special to kick off the tour together nearly two decades later. I just remember being constantly floored and inspired by their writing, originality and artistic integrity. Hayley is such a riveting performer because she's so multifaceted - bold and playful and ferocious and completely in command. It's a dream come true to join forces like this."

We can't possibly be the only ones crying about how *beautiful* this is, right?
