Kanye West is yet to face the potential legal consequences that he also left his Miami property to save himself from receiving lawsuits.

After going missing for weeks, West came out in public again but refused to share life updates online and offline. His comeback, however, does not mean he will face the legal issues he should be dealing with.

AllHipHop obtained the latest court documents filed by Surface Media LLC. The company has been trying to contact the "Jesus Is King" rapper since October 2022 to serve him with legal papers over the space he reportedly left behind in Miami.

Surface Media LLC claims West stopped paying rent. Thus, it is seeking more than $145,000 to cover the fees.

Amid their attempts, West remains hard to track down.

"Upon information and belief, the Defendant recently divorced and his residence is unknown and/or transient," the filing reads. "The Plaintiff attempted service at a suspected residence of and property owned by the Defendant. However, the property appeared to be vacant and there were no signs the Defendant was actually residing at the location."

The company is seeking the Southern District of Florida court for an Extension of Time for Service of the Complaint due to West's "inconsistent behavior and location." It has since hired attorney Jonathan Smulevich to help them with the case.

The lawyer released a statement saying that his client already incurred significant expenses as it tried to serve him the documents.

The new filing was submitted after several related incidents happened.

Greenberg Traurig, LLP also filed legal documents saying its legal team has not been in contact with West due to a "breakdown in communication" with him. Like Surface Media, the company also tried to reach him to inform him it would no longer represent him in the case.

Hundreds of employees alleged they were overworked and underpaid while working on his "Nebuchadnezzar" opera in 2019. The lawsuit now asks for more than $6 million in damages.

It currently plans on putting him on ads in two newspapers in Los Angeles and publishing the judge's court order. According to Greenberg Traurig, posting it on papers would "likely garner significant media attention, resulting in broader publication."

Meanwhile, former business manager, Thomas St. John, declared him missing in December. He said he could not reach him for weeks to serve him with legal documents following a breach of contract.
