Just a few days before turning 34, Jon Hill, the ex-husband of YouTuber and beauty blogger Jaclyn Hill, passed away on August 10, 2022.
A spokesman from the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner claimed that the time it would take for autopsy findings to be available was "months."
The musician and drummer Jon Hill's cause of death, however, has now been made public.
Jon passed away from fentanyl poisoning, according to the coroner's findings, as reported by People magazine.
It's also important to note that methamphetamine was discovered in his body after he passed away.
Jon Hill Drug Addiction
2019 saw the rocker's shockingly frank album " Rebirth " published.
His life-threatening drug overdoses, divorce, and bullying as a youngster were all discussed on the record. However, Jon Hill at the time took consolation in becoming sober and making music rather than giving in to his demons, which were his drug addiction.
Behind the scenes, the Houston, Texas, drummer and songwriter battled a long-brewing addiction while seeing his then-wife Jaclyn Hill develop as a person.
He revealed to Billboard in an interview the same year that his addiction began in high school when he was 17 years old. When a buddy requested Jon to sample the prescription medication he was using to treat his friend's pain from a broken leg while they were at a campfire, Jon agreed.
Jon confessed, "I remember when it hit me, and I was like, 'Oh my god, this is the best feeling I've ever had.' It's like all my insecurities of what people thought of me just went away. I felt untouchable."
Because of the drugs and a stay in treatment, their marriage to Jaclyn was strained because of his high school addiction.
After nine years of marriage, they declared their intention to split in 2018. Following a brief relapse and a subsequent push from his father to enter treatment, Jon declared himself to be completely sober and prepared to share his tale through his debut album.

Jaclyn Hill's Touching Tribute Days Before Jon's Death
Days after his passing, Jaclyn Hill paid an emotional homage to him and referred to him as "the most lovely and sensitive person" she had ever met.
"You have so much skill that you were unsure of what to do with it. You transformed your suffering into art, and the sincerity of your songs affected so many others.
The makeup artist also mentioned her late ex-husband's humor, adding she will "forever miss" that about him.
They were wed in 2009, and their union was over in 2018.
