Months before the actual festival, Wireless Festival 2023 organizers just released the first wave of performers for the upcoming hip-hop music festival.
Taking place at Finsbury Park in North London on Jul. 7 - 9, 2023, the Wireless Festival 2023 is one of the most highly-anticipated music fests in London. The annual rap and urban music festival started in 2005 at Hyde Park but then eventually moved to other locations throughout the years.
According to NME, Wireless Festival 2023 headliners are Travis Scott, D-Block Europe, and Playboi Carti. On the other hand, hip-hop legend, 50 Cent will be appearing on the third and final day as a special guest.
Apart from the star-studded performers, BBC Radio 1XTRA host will also be present throughout the 3-day festivities. Kenny Allstar, DJ Target, Tiffany Calver, Seani B, Nadia Jae, and Remi Burgz are slated to appear.
The publication also noted that 1XTRA would again play an important role at Wireless Festival 2023. They would be the official broadcaster for the festival. This meant that fans who were unable to purchase tickets could still watch the festival through BBC iPlayer, BBC Sounds, and even on 1XTRA social media accounts.
Last year, A$AP Rocky, J.Cole, Tyler The Creator, Dave, Cardi B, SZA, and Nicki Minaj were among the headliners for the festival. Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Jack Harlow, Summer Walker, Megan Thee Stallion, Roddy Rich, Jhene Aiko, The Kid LAROI, Doja Cat, Gunna, Burna Boy, City Girls, and even Lil Tjay were present.
