Incubus will be going on tour this year and it appears that one of their most beloved members won't be appearing at their shows; who will temporarily replace him?

According to a statement posted on the group's social media accounts, bassist Ben Kenney will be unable to play with his bandmates after a "recent medical procedure" in their remaining shows throughout January.

Fortunately for the band, they were able to find a replacement which they consider a "good friend," Tal Wilkenfeld, and they "look forward to performing with her on these shows." (via Loudwire)

After the group shared their announcement, many fans immediately took to the reply section to share their well-wishes for the bassist, with one writing, "I wish a fast recovery to Ben. But I'm not gonna lie, I would love to see a live show of Incubus with Tal on bass. It would slap!"

"Those black hearts and background got us all expecting the worst! Thank goodness Ben will be fine and I wish him a speedy and complete recovery," another fan wrote.

As of this writing, the band has not yet disclosed which type of medical procedure Ben Kenney had.
