After Gerard Pique finally made it public with his new girlfriend on Instagram, Shakira fans are disgusted and furious.
The long-term pair declared their separation in June 2022. Later on, it was discovered that the soccer player had cheated on the "Hips Don't Lie" singer with Clara Chia Marti, a 23-year-old.
After posting a selfie on Wednesday showing him and his new girlfriend appearing quite close, Gerard left little comments.
Shakira's army of supporters instantly filled Gerard's Instagram post comments section in favor of the Colombian singer despite the lack of a message for the picture.
One user said that Gerard wasn't considering the children and teenagers that follow him online and look up to him.
"Do you think it's acceptable that he's actually gloating about having been unfaithful and having ruined his family," the furious social media user demanded.
Another commenter mentioned how humiliated they would be to boast about cheating on their partner and destroying their family without considering the potential effects on their children.
Sasha and Milan are two of Shakira and Gerard Pique's children.
The commenter said, "You shouldn't be proud of being unfaithful in public."
"If you did not give time to your wife to overcome your adultery, give time to your small ones. They do not have to see their parents with new partners yet," someone else advised the former athlete.
"And will be the perfect opportunity to clarify, support, and enable them to move on without their parents."

Shakira has yet to respond to the photo that her ex-boyfriend shared; after all, she has made it clear in a recent song that she is upset with both him and her alleged mother-in-law.
After his split with the singer of "Underneath Your Clothes," Gerard Pique's mother is apparently not having a great time.
Lecturas, a Spanish magazine, reports that Montserrat Bernabeu is traumatized. They reported that the mother is "devastated" in an article that Marca translated.
Montserrat's family has found it tough because Shakira reportedly ordered her children to stop referring to her as "grandmother."
According to the magazine's insiders, Montserrat always tried to make the couple's relationship work. The grandkids and Gerard's parents get along so well that Milan and Sasha would spend a lot of time at their house if Shakira and Gerard were abroad.
