Did Cory Monteith really lose his life from drugs?

In the last segment of "The Price of Glee," a three-part Investigation Discovery show, the late star's close pal made startling charges.

Cory was sadly discovered dead in his Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel room in Vancouver on July 13, 2013, shocking his followers all around the world.

According to authorities, Cory had been out with his pals earlier, and after failing to check out of the hotel, staff discovered his lifeless corpse.

He had consumed a lethal combination of narcotics and alcohol the previous evening, it was subsequently revealed.

His former roommate and pal said in the documentary that the controversial actor struggled with "Glee's" explosive popularity and heavy production schedule.

Justin Neill claimed Cory ultimately resented his celebrity status, and had to increase his home's security since he allegedly had a stalker.

According to the close friend, Lea Michele's ex-boyfriend began warning him that it would be challenging to figure out how to become famous since you wouldn't know who to trust any more.

Justin admitted that the unwelcome attention Cory's profile began bringing him led him to install several more security cameras as a result of the stalker, who was reportedly a young lady that was always following him.

The attention compelled Justin and the actor to leave their Culver City home together, and Justin said that he felt "very emotional" about it since they shared such a strong relationship and cared for one another like family.

Speaking on Cory Monteith's difficulties, Justin recalled a moment when he was growing more and more alone and even came to the point where he hated fame that ultimately affected his life.

"I remember him specifically saying 'I wouldn't wish fame on my worst enemy', That was like, whoa. I'd seen the fame, but I didn't realize how hard it was for him until then."

Kyle Burch, who is reportedly Chris Colfer's replacement on "Glee," also discussed his involvement in the development of the program.

He maintained that Cory wasn't always prepared for the set and that he would instead use a stand-in to do the entire scenario during the rehearsal.

Justin also recalled the moment he learned his former roommate had passed away.

"For me, it was like losing a family member. Then on top of that, every single person you've ever known wants to know what happened."
