Patti LaBelle isn't slowing down any time soon-she's ready to head out for dates and perform at the Super Bowl Festival in Mesa Arts Center.

At 78 years old, the Godmother of Soul is single and definitely read to mingle following her split from her ex-husband of 32 years.

She announced that she is, in fact, back in the dating pool, looking for love once again: "I'm too good to be solo!"

During her appearance at the "Jennifer Hudson Show," LaBelle revealed that she has someone in mind, but won't tell who.

"I do have a nice person in mind, but that's my personal business," she cheekily added.

The "If Only You Knew" singer revealed that despite their divorce, she and her ex, Armstead Edwards, still maintain a good relationship.

"I was married for 32 years to a wonderful man, and we're still friends, good friends," she explained. "I think in life I have to find happiness for myself other than back in the day with him, which was wonderful."

It has been 10 years since her divorce, but it seems she is still yet to find someone to love and marry.

Talkshow host Hudson then suggested that LaBelle should try her luck by signing up for dating sites or apps.

"Do you ever do dating apps?" Hudson asked.

"What are dating apps?" Was her response. After explaining what dating apps and how they work, LaBelle replied, "Oh, that stuff. I've seen that commercial."

However, it seems like she's not interested in trying it out, after all, she already has someone in mind.

Booked and Busy

It seems like the "On My Own" singer allotted some time for love, especially since these days she's booked and busy, now that she is to headline the 2023 Super Bowl Festival in Mesa.

According to reports, before the highly anticipated NFL season kicks off, fans can get hyped by attending the Super Bowl Festival which will be held at the Mesa Arts Center days before the Super Bowl LVII commences.

LaBelle excitedly talked about the festival, "I'm just happy to be a part of it because I'm an Eagles fan from Philadelphia so you know I had to have at least a little bit to do with this concert."
