Scooter Braun-owned Hybe has now acquired Quality Control Music which bills some of the most promising hip-hop acts of the generation.

Although Hybe South Korea was the one who acquired the influential Atlanta music label, it was controversial manager Scooter Braun who owns Hybe America, the parent company of Hybe South Korea.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the buyout of QC Media Holdings, the parent company of Quality Control Music, is estimated to be around $300 million. It is revealed that a $250 million purchase of QC was made, and another $50 million was given as new stock to founders Kevin Lee and Pierre Thomas to kickstart the new deal.

To date, Hybe owns K-Pop acts intended for the Asian market; but due to trends, the audience for such acts are growing in the United States. The buyout for QC Holdings is the first big acquisition for Scooter Braun since he took over. It has now given him great control over the "fastest-growing and most culturally relevant" independent label in the United States.

QC Media Holdings, in extension Quality Control Music, is the label of huge hip-hop acts like Lil Baby, Lil Yachty, City Girls, and the then-Atlanta trio, Migos.

Braun now oversees them, along with SB Projects, which includes Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, and The Kid LAROI. The Big Machine Label Group is also part of Hybe America, which includes clients like Thomas Rhett, Rascal Flatts, and Tim McGraw.

"P and I are ecstatic about this partnership with Scooter and HYBE and are confident they can get us to our global ambitions we've had in our scope since the beginning of the company as nothing means more than our artists impacting worldwide. Over many years, Scooter and I have cultivated real trust and a common way of looking at the world and culture," Lee said in a statement.

Braun, on the other hand, was honored to have Coach and P join their team.

"QC is one of the most significant independent labels in the world, working with incredible artists who are, and remain to be, the voices of culture," Braun said. I'll never forget riding around Atlanta over 20 years ago with Coach discussing our dreams and ambitions and how we said, 'If they let us in the game, we are never going to give it back.' Now, all these years later, we are joining forces to make these dreams."
