Aside from being a talented musician, performer, and entrepreneur, Rihanna is also good at keeping secrets! Days after her iconic performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show, her backup dancers reveal that they weren't aware of the musician's pregnancy even the day of the show.

Over the weekend, the pop star's name trended all over social media because of her headlining set, outfit, and the news of her pregnancy. Donning a red outfit for the occasion, some viewers immediately noticed a baby bump on the singer while singing her hit tracks from her catalog.

More recently, backup dancers Laila Hayes and Luhnyae Campbell spoke to Entertainment Tonight, saying they didn't know the Grammy Award-winning singer was pregnant until after watching the performance online.

"We were all confused watching it during the real thing when she went up there and was showing her stomach," one of the dancers said.

They later explained that the "Diamonds" hitmaker was wearing the same outfit for one of their dress rehearsals, but the baby bump was hidden because the jacket was zippered up.

Campbell further explained in a TikTok video that Rihanna came into rehearsals wearing big fur coats and sets of Fenty sweatshirt outfits all the time.

"I was surprised too," the dancer said.

Rihanna Pregnancy Remains a Secret Until Super Bowl Performance

The recent interview comes after an insider told the outlet that Rihanna only told a few people about her pregnancy and she even kept it from Apple Music and NFL executives.

"Rihanna has always done things on her own schedule so she didn't let her plans for baby number two stop her from committing to doing the show -- she wanted it all!" the source said.

The source further explained that the musician wasn't aware she was pregnant at the time she agreed to perform on the halftime show.

Super Bowl halftime producer Jesse Collins gave an insight about how they kept the pregnancy hidden during rehearsals, saying they had to practice miles away just for the secret not to be revealed.

"It was a lot of work. And then, how do you keep the secret that she's pregnant? I mean, that's hard too," he said, adding that he constantly wanted the pop star to go down the platform as soon as they were done for her safety.
