Harry Styles, Olivia Wilde 'Nasty' Break Up Rumors Debunked! [SOURCE + DETAILS]

Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde's relationship has been riddled with controversy since the beginning, how is their break up any different?

According to Page Six, the 38-year-old actress/director shared an eyebrow-raising post about the different kinds of love last week.

"There are several kinds of love. One is a selfish, mean, grasping, egotistical thing which uses love for self-importance. This is the ugly and crippling kind," read the reposted excerpt from author John Steinbeck.

The short post caused quite a stir among netizens who assumed that the post might be alluding to Styles.

This comes after other news of Wilde "harboring resentment" towards the singer/actor after their break up last year.

"They made big plans and were looking at buying property together. Olivia really thought she and Harry were heading toward marriage," said a source.

"But he pulled the rug from under her, and she feels he was using her."

On the other hand, the source noted why they think Styles might have decided to walk out on Wilde: "Her anxiety about other women, the toxic war with her ex Jason Sudeikis, her failure to connect with his friends and family, plus the apparent pressure to get engaged."

"It all became too much in the end. The way Olivia kept going on about getting married and buying a place together was the straw that broke the camel's back."

Despite all the drama surrounding the ex-couple, another source came forward to set some things straight-all is well.

"She's focused on her kids and co-parenting with Jason," the source told People magazine. "She and Harry are good friends, there's no animosity whatsoever. Plus she's got many different directing projects in the works."

The source reiterated and stressed that despite all the rumors, the pair are "very close friends," but they decided to break up because of "different priorities that are keeping them apart."

Styles and Wilde met for the first time during the filming of the recently released movie, "Don't Worry Darling."

Styles was the main lead, while Wilde directed it. It was not until 2021 that they all but confirmed their relationship by attending a wedding together.

"What started out as a close friendship, quickly turned romantic," a source said before. "Everyone saw it coming. During breaks, he hasn't been able to stay away and visited her trailer."
