Is Tom Sizemore dead?

Sizemore's doctors at the Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank declared that there is no chance for him to recover after he suffered a brain aneurysm from a stroke on Feb. 18. According to the latest update from his representative, Charles Lago, his family is now deciding on end-of-life matters.

He added that a new statement would be released by Wednesday.

Although Sizemore's family and representative are yet to reveal the decision, Twitter users have already posted their heartfelt messages of condolences for the actor and his bereaved loved ones. Others also pointed out that he is not yet dead.

On Twitter, several verified users who are seemingly close to Sizemore and his family have already paid tribute to him.

Actor, singer, and director Robert Davi posted a photo of him with the singer-actor alongside the caption, "Am saddened to hear of Tom Sizemore's end of life - his family has my prayers - Tom and I were friends I knew of his suffering & his struggle with Addition - he was a terrific talent - Many families suffer from the heartbreak and tragedy of this disease and we do not do enough!!"

Below the photo, some fans left condolences. Others, on the other hand, sent prayers.

Other verified users also shared photos of Tom Sizemore with the text "RIP."

What Happened to Tom Sizemore?

Tom Sizemore's hospitalization came after he was found inside his Los Angeles home on Sunday around 2 a.m. His representative revealed in a statement that he suffered a brain aneurysm from a stroke, leading him to be rushed to a local hospital.

In the past few days, Lago's public announcements shared similar messages: that Sizemore's status was not improving.

Still, Lago asked the public to give his family privacy amid the difficult time and thanked everyone who had been supporting and offering prayers in the past few days.

Tom Sizemore's movies have received success upon their release. Among the flicks he worked on, is "Saving Private Ryan" remains the most notable one after it scored more than $217 million at the box office.

According to his IMDb page, Sizemore also has a background in music. He served as the lead singer of the Hollywood rock band, Day 8, which he established in 2022 with Rod Casho, Lester Mendoza, Michael Taylor, and Tyrone Tomke. Originally called The Bystanders, the band released an EP containing four singles.
