KISS has been on the road for their farewell tour since 2019 and many are still confused and wondering when they will officially retire. More recently, the veteran rockers finally revealed the official date of their last show ever; where would it take place?
The band recently appeared on "The Howard Stern Show" where they made a special announcement, saying they're going to finish up what they started.
Regarding the official dates of their final concerts, the glam rockers revealed it would be on December 1 and 2 at the Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Paul Stanley chimed in and shared his thoughts about how the public reacted to them, saying, "Look, some people have kind of snickered and said, 'Oh this End of the Road tour's gone on for years,'" adding that everyone lost two and a half years due to the global pandemic and if COVID-19 didn't happen, the band "would've been done already."
On the other hand, Gene Simmons opened up his feelings about performing for the last time, saying although he loves joking around, he's certain that he'll be emotional once they take the stage.
"I'm sure I'm gonna cry like a 9-year-old girl whose foot's being stepped on," he said. (via Billboard)

Elsewhere in the interview, the frontman revealed the reason why they chose Madison Square Garden as the venue for their final concert, saying the band was born on 23rd street, which is 10 blocks away from the famed concert grounds.
The recent revelation comes after Gene Simmons told the New York Post that he might leave KISS anytime soon because of his age as the band's set of concerts requires them to wear 40-pound armor and 7-inch platform shoes.
"I can't sit in a chair picking a guitar like blues musicians. I know you can't stay on the stage too long. Better get off while the getting's good," he explained.
Before performing at their back-to-back finale concerts, KISS will embark on their "The End of the Road" tour across North America, kicking off at the Moody Center ATX in Austin, Texas, on October 29.
They will also perform in different cities like Los Angeles, Palm Desert, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto, Indianapolis, Rosemont, Baltimore, and many more.
