A running trend has been flourishing in the music industry as many artists have been organizing and creating their own music festivals like Usher's "Lovers And Friends Fest," J. Cole's "Dreamville," and many more. Today, Nelly has announced that he would also have a concert featuring a star-studded lineup; are your favorite artists here?
According to Uproxx, the musician will feature some of the best classic music acts in hip-hop and R&B this June 24 at Downsview Park in Toronto, Ontario.
The one-day festival, titled "Hot in Herre," includes performances from Ne-Yo, Akon, T.I., Keri Hilson, Rick Ross, Chingy, and Ja Rule.
"June 24th DownsView Park.. Toronto ya boy gone be in town," the rapper announced on his Instagram account.
Per a press release, Nelly revealed why he chose Toronto as the venue of his first music festival, saying it's one of his favorite cities to perform in.
"the fact that I get to come back and bring all the people that came up with me in the industry means everything... We have a lot of surprises in store for you, Toronto, and the Hot in Herre team can't wait for this summer," he added.

Fans expressed their excitement online after the announcement, with one fan writing, "Ja Rule is going to be the concert version of when Closing Time is played at bars."
Some fans appear to be excited for Hilson as they wrote, "The Keri Hilson come back we have all been waiting for #teamkeri."
Another supporter chimed in and requested the R&B star to release new music as she has one of the most iconic catalogs over the past decades, "Please tell me you'll have new music out by then?"
Nelly 'Hot In Herre' Festival Ticket Prices
Ticket prices have already been released online with General Admission starting at CAD$180 while VIP of Front Stage starts at CAD$275.
There are also VIP booth options which cost CAD$2,250 to CAD$25,000. For fans who will avail the VIP booth, 20 tickets are already included in the package as well as access to private washrooms, private entrance, fully-catered food, wait staff, and eight bottles of alcohol.
Festivals of Vaughan, the ticket-provider for the event, noted that prices will get more expensive the longer fans wait to purchase, so it's best to buy tickets as early as now.
