Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj's "Beauty and The Beat" has recorded its biggest streaming day of all time on Spotify since it was released eleven years ago.
The streaming activity was particularly attributed to the ongoing drama between Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber.

Famously, Minaj, who is a featured artist on Justin Bieber's hit 2012 song "Beauty and the Beat" rapped about Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber's relationship at the time.
"In time, ink lines, B--hes couldn't get on my incline, World tours, it's mine, Ten little letters on a big sign," Nicki rapped. "Justin Bieber, You know I'mma hit 'em with the ether, Buns out, weiner, But I gotta keep an eye out for Selener! Beauty, beauty and the beast, Beauty from the East. Beautiful confessions of the priest!"
Based on the lyrics, the song wasn't necessarily directed to Selena, but Minaj's lyrics suggest that she has to keep an eye out for Selena as she was hanging out with Justin for the music video.
According to Chart Data, "Beauty and The Beat" amassed 485,000 streaming units last Mar. 3, 2023.

In its release in 2012, the song hit No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, No. 1 on the US Dance Club Songs, No. 2 on the US Mainstream Top 40, No. 3 on the US Dance/Mix Show Airplay, No. 4 at the US Rhythmic Charts, and No. 27 at the US Adult Top 40. It also charted at the Billboard Hot 100 Year End Charts of 2013 at No. 42.
The song has been certified 4x Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. It was performed by Bieber and Minaj at the 2012 American Music Awards. She also performed her part of the verse on the "Pink Friday: Reloaded Tour" as Bieber also sang it separately at the 2012 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
Since then the song was embedded in modern pop culture, which is why it was not surprising that the song was dug up amid the ongoing online civil war between Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez's feud.
The conflict between the two sparked after Bieber's wife, Hailey, along with Kylie Jenner, were accused of shading Selena Gomez on her botched laminated eyebrow.
Since then the internet seemed to have chosen its side on the brewing feud, with almost half of the internet siding with Selena, who was also infamously Justin's ex-girlfriend.
