Morgan Wallen included his high school in the recent milestone he received.

Following the release of his new album, "One Thing at a Time," Wallen returned to Gibbs High School in Knoxville, Tennessee, and included it in celebrating his music project. He surprised the senior class of the school Thursday morning as he came up unannounced.

He also invited them to a concert that evening, during which Wallen performed several tracks from his new album, including "All Your Reasons," "Last Night," and "Keith Whitley."

As reported by Billboard, the 29-year-old country musician also sang his hit songs "More Than My Hometown," "Thought You Should Know," and "You Proof."

Apart from his surprise performance, Wallen also extended his help to the school and gave a $35,000-worth check to the principal from the Morgan Wallen Foundation. It will reportedly be used in the schools' performing arts and sports programs.

A part of the amount will also be used to acquire equipment for the sports department.

"I love this place, and am having so many different feelings that I didn't know I was gonna feel," he said in a statement. "At one point today, me and my dad and my son were out there on the field and it just kinda made sense and I'm really so proud to be from here."

Morgan Wallen's New Album

Wallen will drop the follow-up to his "Dangerous: The Double Album," on March 3.

Titled "One Thing at a Time," the album contains 36 tracks which include the song he wrote for his mother. It also has "Keith Whitley," the song he wrote and sang that he named after the late Country Music Hall of Fame singer died in 1989 from alcohol poisoning.

"This record represents the last few years of my life, the highs and the lows," Wallen said in a statement, per Rolling Stone. "It also brings together the musical influences that have shaped me as an artist - country, alternative and hip-hop."
