Miley Cyrus officially surpassed Adele in one notable milestone.

On March 3, Cyrus' hit song "Flowers" officially scored its seventh No. 1 spot on the Official UK Singles Chart. The track has been on the top spot since January 13.

According to NME, the feat made the 30-year-old beat Adele and her previous record with "Easy On Me." Between 2021 and 2022, Adele's "Easy On Me" appeared at No. 1 for eight non-consecutive weeks.

Aside from that recognition, the Official Charts Company said that Cyrus' "Flowers" remains the most-streamed song in the UK, having 5.2 million overall streams since its release.

The former child star will release the song again as part of her next album, "Endless Summer Vacation," which she will drop on March 10.

Ahead of the release, Cyrus unveiled the demo version of "Flowers" via RCA Records.

Amid "Flowers" success, there have also been rumors that the singer's ex-husband, Liam Hemsworth, is suing her for defamation of character. A Miley Cyrus fan account on Twitter revealed that the "leaked documents" revealed that the actor wanted her to taste her own medicine as the song affected his contract with Netflix for the series, "The Witcher."

However, a Reddit post soon dismissed the claims, saying the fan account only created the alleged lawsuit using a template.

Liam Hemsworth's Connection to Miley Cyrus' "Flowers"

Hemsworth and Cyrus got married in 2018 but officially got divorced in 2020. The actress-singer at that time said that they ended it simply because "there was too much conflict."

"Me being an intense person and not wanting to sit with it and not wanting to go, you know, 'What could be purposeful about this?' I just clung to what I had left of that house, which was me and him," she said during an interview with Howard Stern. "And I really do and did love him very, very, very much and still do, always will."

Parts of Cyrus' "Flowers" seemingly serve as tirades toward her ex-husband, including the lyric "built a home and watched it burn" which, according to fans, may reference the incident when their Malibu home got burnt down in 2018.

It was also revealed that the song is a flip to "If I Was Your Man," Bruno Mars' song, which Hemsworth often sang to her during their relationship.

In response to this, Cyrus' sister, Brandi Cyrus, told "Your Favorite Thing" podcast with Wells Adams on Jan. 20 that only the singer "knows the truth."
