Katy Perry sparked issues again after she allegedly "mom-shamed" one of "American Idol" contestants.

On Sunday's episode of "American Idol," the long-running singing competition show welcomed a group of aspirants on its stage, including Sara Beth Liebe.

In the video uploaded on the show's YouTube channel, Liebe introduced herself, saying that she was 25 years old. The judges looked surprised as they told her she looked like a teenager.

The contestant surprised them even more by saying she has three kids. She added that if Perry lays on the table, she claimed she would pass out.

Perry replied, "Honey, you've been laying on the table too much." The "Dark Horse" hitmaker also asked Liebe if singing was her dream since the mother of three revealed she has no time for herself anymore.

The "The One That Got Away" songstress soon told the contestant that, if singing was not her dream, she might need to leave because there are a lot of other dreams behind her, referring to the other contestants waiting in line.

Unbothered by her words, Liebe sang, "You Know I'm No Good."

However, Perry offered another comment, telling her it was not enough and that she should try "Benny and the Jets." According to the contestant, the song was actually her first choice for the audition.

After hearing her audition, the female judge called her the "accidental American Idol." Although Luke Bryan expressed his love for the contestant for being a great singer, but Perry spoke again warning her it would not go far if it is not her dream.

Katy Perry Called Out After Allegedly Bullying Contestant

After seeing the episode, viewers expressed their dismay over Perry's inconsiderate and "below-the-belt" comments toward the contestant.

They started calling her out for being rude, telling her to "come back down to reality" and stop "being a mean girl."

It was not the first time Perry made headlines this season. During a February episode, the singer broke down after hearing Trey Louis' audition, especially when she learned that he survived a school shooting.

"In May 2018, a gunman walked into my school. I was in art room one. He shot up art room two before he made his way to art room one. Lost a lot of friends. Eight students were killed. Two teachers were killed," he said.

Perry soon cried hard as she screamed that the country failed everyone.

Viewers, at that time, called Perry out for overreacting while the school shooting incident victim remained composed throughout his appearance.
