Miley Cyrus continues to tease her fans with her upcoming album "Endless Summer Vacation" by dropping hints and explaining the meanings behind her yet-to-be-heard songs.

More recently, the pop star opened up about her inspiration behind her upcoming single "River," the follow-up to her smash hit, "Flowers."

In a teaser clip from her Disney+ collaboration special "Endless Summer Vacation (Backyard Sessions)," the former "Hannah Montana" actress revealed that she was going through a rough time when she wrote the track.

"It was a time in my life where I was going through just a lot emotionally and personally," she said in the video interview. (via Billboard)

She further explained that all of her tracks evolve through time and noted that they start as "something that was trouble" which feels like an April shower that never stops raining.

By the end of the clip, the musician gave fans a hint on what the song would sound like, and it appears that the single might be an upbeat track as she revealed, "sometimes we just need a dance floor banger."

Miley Cyrus' new song "River," as well as her new album, will be available for streaming starting on March 10, Friday, at 12 a.m. ET / 9 p.m. PT. The track will also be accompanied by a music video.

Miley Cyrus Disney Plus Collaboration 'Endless Summer Vacation (Backyard Sessions)'

Miley Cyrus is going back to her childhood roots as she's going to collaborate with Disney Plus for a backyard session. The project will be released on the same day as her album "Endless Summer Vacation" comes out.

The upcoming special was shot and framed in Frank Sinatra's former home in Los Angeles, California. As of this writing, a complete setlist has yet to be released, but it was previously reported that the musician will perform some of her classic hits aside from her new ones.

Almost all of her fans remember that the singer grew up in the limelight as she began her career at Disney at a young age. Her most popular project with the media giant was the series "Hannah Montana" wherein she portrayed the role of a regular teenage girl named Miley Stewart who's secretly a pop sensation.
