The Jonas Brothers' Broadway residency is doing great, fans are nothing short of hyped and excited, except maybe for one thing.

During the third night of their Broadway residency, the three-piece band performed a fan-favorite song that they hadn't played in a decade.

According to Billboard, the brothers played "Before the Storm," a song off their 2009 album "Lines, Vines, and Trying Times."

The song was originally recorded and released as a duet between the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus, as they had been pretty close because they all came from the Disney Channel.

The last time they performed "Before the Storm" was back in 2013, which is why fans were so excited to finally hear it live again.

Fans Outraged

However, while many were pretty hyped to see the band perform the song, some were left disappointed, as they performed the first part of the song-without Cyrus.

Fans took to social media to express their dismay: "Not Jonas Brothers performing 'Before the Storm' without Miley."

"Jonas Brothers performing before the storm without me being there to witness it is a crime in itself but without Miley? Jail."

Another fan wrote, "The Jonas brothers cheated me out of hearing the entire 'Before the Storm'."

A fan wrote about the show: "They were late, did half of 'Before the Storm', and teased DCMFTC (and rightfully got booed). Rare Jonas Brothers L."

Jonas Brothers' Broadway Residency

According to the New York Post, the band is currently hosting a five-night residency at the Marquis Theatre.

"Writing things that we'd want to play in 20 years," Nick Jonas said to the audience. "We never thought we would get here. It was wishful thinking."

"But to look out and see some of the same faces, to see that this music that we wrote when I was 13 years old ... still means something to you, it's a crazy feeling and it's why we do what we do. So we're gonna go on a roller coaster tonight."

The Jonas Brothers were formed in 2005 and gained popularity after being on the Disney Channel, namely the "Camp Rock" movies where they starred alongside Demi Lovato.

After announcing their hiatus in 2011, the members of the group pursued solo careers, but eventually found their way back and reunited in 2019.

About three years later, the Jonas Brothers are gearing up for the release of their upcoming album, "The Album."
