Liam Payne was spotted with Louis Tomlinson on the premiere night of the latter's documentary, "All of Those Voices."

The pair were seen all smiles and seemed like there wasn't any animosity despite Payne's comment about how One Direction was formed during his appearance in Logan Paul's podcast, "Impaulsive."

Apparently, this was because the "Strip That Down" singer finally publicly addressed his statements and apologized to his fellow member, Tomlinson.

"I'm so sorry I was so out of my mind and I didn't do better for you," Payne wrote on Instagram.

"I feel ashamed in those moments to not be as good of a friend as you have been to me.

"At least I have time now and I'm me again so will try and make amends."

Emotional Night

The apology post came after Payne's appearance alongside Tomlinson at the premiere, although there were no reports that say the singers made amends before the event, Payne must have apologized privately beforehand as well.

"Seeing the world through your eyes last night was the most beautiful thing to experience," he continued.

"My neck hurts from how much Im [sic] looking up to you right now you were already my friend and brother but getting to look through that window into your world and mind I [sic] just extends that respect I have for you."

Tomlinson and Payne were members of One Direction, along with Harry Styles, Niall Horan, and former member Zayn Malik.

After the group's supposed 18-month hiatus, the went on to pursue solo careers; they have shared a few interactions between themselves over the years.

"I'm emotionally drained watching the movie and I only did an hour and a half, you lived it and I'm so proud of how you did it not only with amazing music but with passion and the will to get up off the canvas every time life beat you down and fight back," Payne wrote.

"You dragged me out of something so dark I've never shared it but your approach is something I admire and aspire to so I can one day do the same."

One Direction Drama?

According to reports, Payne was under fire after commenting on Malik during his podcast interview with Paul.

He explained how he "disliked" the "Pillow Talk" singer after news of his alleged assault against his ex-girlfriend model, Gigi Hadid, and her mother, Yolanda Hadid, came out.

He also then noted that there were "many reasons why I'll always, always be on his side. If I had had to go through what he went through, his growth and whatever else... My parents are overly supportive to the point where it's annoying at times. Zayn had a different upbringing in that sense."

He also commented on how One Direction was formed. He alleged that the group was built around him and that he was the first member.

This was proven to be untrue when a clip from "The X Factor UK" resurfaced, showing how the judges formed the group.
