Lizzo chronicled her entire experience with jury duty-including a fit check.

Like everyone else in the country, Lizzo was summoned to perform her civic duty by helping in determining someone's fate in the courtroom.

She woke up extra early to prepare for jury duty, too. She shared a video of her putting makeup on and showing off the outfit she wore.

"Get ready with me for jury duty," the Grammy-Awarded singer began in her TikTok video. She looked cozy in her brown pajamas.

It was six in the morning, Lizzo said, and she was not even excited in the slightest with the summon.

"I'm not excited about jury duty," she continued. "I'm actually really stressed about it because I've just heard people getting really gruesome, violent cases, and I have a really sensitive mind and I don't like hearing or seeing that. I would cry."

Lizzo ended her TikTok video with a picture of herself standing outside a jury assembly room.

Jury Duty

A fan commented on the initial video, "Dying to know if you got picked."

The "Good As Hell" singer replied with a picture of herself outside a jury assembly room, and wrote in all capitals: "I got released from jury duty, y'all. I wonder why tho," with a thinking emoji.

Apparently, Lizzo is not the only singer who has been released from jury duty.

According to Billboard, Madonna was also sent home from jury duty because she was deemed a "distraction" to the trial.

It seems like the courts did not want a repeat of the Madonna fiasco, so they instead let the "Juice" singer go.
