The internet was devastated after witnessing Harry Styles passionately kissing Emily Ratajkowski on the streets of Tokyo, Japan.
It has also been alleged that the "As It Was" singer has had a long-standing infatuation on the 31-year-old brunette model, even referring to her as his "celebrity crush" during an interview in 2014.
When asked who his celebrity crush was in an interview with Telehit eight years ago, Harry mentioned his new love in a video.
"Emily Ratajkowski," he added, amusingly mispronouncing her surname.
However, Emily turned down requests to date the Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter in 2016, while replying to fans' comments with Vanity Fair.
One fan tweeted during that time, "Can Harry and Emily Ratajkowski F------ DATE."
In the newly unearthed footage, the "Gone Girl" actress immediately put an end to any romantic expectations.
"I don't know. I'm not sure I believe in fans setting people up. I'm not sure if that's the best way to find the best kind of relationships," Emily said.
The startling new relationship follows Harry Styles' split from Olivia Wilde in November, as well as Emily Ratajkowski's divorce from spouse Sebastian Bear-McClard.
Fans quickly realized that the "Don't Worry, Darling" star had been "manifesting" his infatuation with the Vogue cover lady for quite some time.

While the majority may be surprised, it has been revealed that Harry Styles and Emily Ratajkowski had been "getting to know each other" for some time prior to their hot weekend session.
According to a source who talked to The Sun, neither of them anticipated to be caught while making out in a foreign nation and then published on social media. They do not, however, choose to conceal anything.
"They spent some time together out of the public eye this year and are just enjoying each other's company when Harry is on tour," they claimed.

Harry Styles' Grammys
All of this comes after Harry Styles won major Grammy Awards this year.
The former One Direction star has three Grammy awards, including "Song of the Year" for "As It Was," "Album of the Year" for "Harry's House" and "Pop Solo Performance" for his hit song, "Watermelon Sugar."
He is the first-ever member of the British-Irish boyband formed in 2011 to win a Grammy.
