Elvis Presley's ex, Linda Thompson, remembered Lisa Marie Presley months after the singer's death.

The music industry was left shocked after the news about Lisa Marie's passing emerged. The crooner, the King of Rock and Roll's only child, died on Jan. 12, at West Hills Hospital and Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, after suffering a cardiac arrest twice.

As the world continues to mourn her, Elvis' ex also took her time to remember the late singer through a heartfelt post.

Linda Thompson Calls Lisa Marie Presley "Precious Little Girl"

On Wednesday, Thompson shared throwback photos of the late musician on Instagram and shared how she became a huge part of her life. The 72-year-old revealed she found the Polaroids while cleaning their house.

"Little 'Yisa Marisa' as I remember her so lovingly. She was a precious little girl! Shown here she was six years old and had just lost her two front teeth," the caption reads. "She wanted me to take some pictures of her in my dressing area at the Monovale house. We had such a wonderful relationship for so many years."

The first three photos show Lisa Marie as a child as she smiled brightly despite losing her two front teeth. The fourth picture features the late singer and a woman named Dee while they were on top of a boat in Lake Tahoe.

In the last photo, Lisa Marie posed in pajamas with Thompson and other women in 1973.

The same caption mentioned Riley Keough's Amazon Prime series "Daisy Jones & the Six." Thompson praised Lisa Marie's daughter and said that she has binge-watched the series.

Linda Thompson, Lisa Marie Presley Were Close

Before her recent post, Thompson shared her heartbreak with People after learning about Lisa Marie Presley's death.

She told the news outlet that she was "absolutely devastated and shocked" as she noted how the late singer's last text to her was "Love you Linda" with a heart emoji.

She was honored during a public memorial service on the front lawn of Graceland on Jan. 22. Austin Butler, Memphis Mayor A C Wharton, Duchess Sarah Ferguson, manager Jerry Schilling, and Joel Weinshanker, among others, attended the event.

She was laid to rest in the famous backyard fountain area of Graceland beside her late son, Benjamin, and across her father's plot. Before her death, Lisa Marie already expressed her desire to be rested in Memphis home's back lawn through her debut album, "To Whom It May Concern."
