Despite being under house arrest in Utah, NBA YoungBoy appears to be exempt from his admonition on the title of his new album, "Don't Try This At Home."

According to TMZ, he and his fans will have a busy evening on Thursday, April 20.

The rapper, whose actual name is Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, is going all out to promote his next album, and his crew is spending $200,000 to reserve party space at Los Angeles' Elevate Lounge.

In an interesting twist, the "Valuable Pain" rapper in Utah will be unable to attend owing to his arrest for a firearms violation.

The highly anticipated duet between Nicki Minaj and NBA YoungBoy, "WTF," was released last Friday.

The song, which has already been seen by millions, was released just in time for an album release party on April 20 in two locations: NBA YoungBoy's living room in Utah and the Elevate Louse in Los Angeles.

NBA YoungBoy House Arrest

Judge Shelly Dick modified NBA YoungBoy's house arrest.

This change was made in reaction to his past gun charge in Baton Rouge, according to papers acquired by AllHipHop. The court granted a relaxation of the existing house arrest conditions last month.

A Louisiana court decision has allowed a hip-hop musician more freedom. It has specifically eliminated two of his supervised release terms, including a limitation on visitors to his home.

The document stated, "The Court issues this written Order modifying condition number 18 and condition number 19 of the Order Setting Conditions of Release, Document 142 filed on October 27, 2021, for the Defendant."

Some of his house arrest rules include "(18) No more than three persons may visit Gaulden at his home at any time. (19) No visitors are allowed at the Defendant's home before 7 a.m. or after 9 p.m."

"'Home' is defined as the Defendant's residence and all property and appurtenances of the residence."

Last year, the "Right Foot Creep" rapper tried to be released from the $1.5 million bond and house detention he was placed on after being charged with two federal weapons counts in October 2021.

Despite his objections, however, the court dismissed his plea. During his imprisonment, the "Lonely Child" hitmaker had only a few visits, including his wife, a producer, and a business manager who shared his house.

However, in an interview with Billboard last February, NBA YoungBoy admitted that his time behind house arrest had really benefitted him.

He declared it to be the finest experience of his life, and it prompted him to reconsider his view on everyday life and music-making.
