Jamie Foxx is yet to be discharged from the hospital following a health scare.

Foxx's daughter, Corinne Foxx, confirmed the worrying news on Instagram regarding her father's health-related incident on Tuesday last week. She did not disclose what exactly happened to the "You Changed Me" singer, but multiple news outlets revealed that it was a medical complication.

Jamie Foxx Remains Hospitalized

Days after Foxx was hospitalized, PEOPLE confirmed that the 55-year-old "Fall For Your Type" crooner is still in a Georgia medical facility.

A source told CNN Monday that he is currently undergoing medical tests. The insider previously clarified that, while Foxx had been in Atlanta to film his Netflix movie, "Back in Action," the medical incident did not happen while he was on set.

It added that Foxx was not transported to the medical facility via an emergency vehicle.

Even after the health scare, a separate source said the film production remains "underway" and expects to wrap out this week. It did not share whether Foxx still has scenes to record or whether he will return to the set before ending the production.

The filming was shut down Wednesday but resumed Thursday through a stand-in for Foxx.

Although he is most renowned as an actor and comedian, Foxx also established his career as a musician. He released several albums in the past decades, including his first album "Peep This" in 1994, "Unpredictable," and "Best Night of My Life."

He dropped his most recent album, "Hollywood: A Story of a Dozen Roses," in 2015.

Jamie Foxx's Health Issues

Aside from his recent medical health scare, the actor-singer also went through several issues in the past years.

Foxx shared his substance abuse story in a 2018 interview, telling Hip Hop Hollywood (via Metro) that his battle with depression led him to depend on drugs and alcohol. He opened up about his past health battle after Kanye West disclosed his bipolar diagnosis.

"I was in a bad place because I felt like I might be literally losing my mind," Foxx said. "I've always had a childhood fear of losing my mind. I needed someone to help bring me out of it."

He recalled the time his drink was spiked by the hallucinogenic drug PCP (phencyclidine) during a college party when he was 18. Things went worse when he fell into a coma after he blacked out.

Fortunately, he was able to get back up and become a better person again.
